Yesterday, our friend Karina was here again for a very short visit. We got together around 12 and picked up some lunch and headed to Pioneer Park. We laid out a blanket for the kids and ate our lunch and visited, it was so fun. The highlight of the conversation was that Karina is moving back, Yay!!! They move on Aug. 15, and I cant wait.
We let the kids put their feet in the kiddie pool to cool off and watched all the other kids daringly swim around in the icy water. Afterwords, we went back to Karina's mom's house and visited more until her sister's Tanya and Kristina came over with their boys. Around 6ish we all had a big Alfy's pizza dinner, which was delicious and well worth my night of suffering due to heartburn. Then we all went outside while the two older boys, Nate and Darin played in the sprinkler.
It was such a great day and I know we have many more to enjoy in the very near future.

ReplyDeleteCute pictures! Is that the park where the farmer's market is? If so, I passed it today (on my way to the doctor). I had a very quick, if not boring, 16 week appt. Heard the heartbeat, everything was fine. 11 days until my u/s! (sorry, I'm obsessed!)
