We are very excited, Jeff got a phone call today from Banner Bank in Walla Walla and he got the job. They were going to wait until his in-person interview on the 29th, but decided they had enough info and had received good vibes during his phone interview last Thurs. that they gave him the job.
He will be talking with them again in the morning and letting them know that we need at least 3 weeks, this way we can both put in proper notice to our current jobs and have a little extra time to get moved. This all happened much sooner than we had anticipated, and despite being sad that many of our family members and close friends will be staying behind, we are also ecstatic at the idea of getting there before our daughter Olivia arrives.
We have a lot to do over the next couple of weeks: pack the house, change all of our doctor appts., find a new place to live, etc. Any help would be much appreciated, especially since I will be doing most if not all of the packing on my days off during Grace's morning and afternoon naps. Also, if any of you have any boxes you can spare, we are trying to aviod buying a ton since they aren't cheap.
As far as a pregnancy update, I am over the hump now, 23 1/2 weeks phew! I already feel huge, and am getting to the "sleepless" stage. I cant seem to stay comfortable and I don't seem to make it to REM sleep which is dragging me down a little bit.
Gracie just had her 8 month b-day on Saturday, and that evening we discovered that she finally got her first tooth. We were so shocked and excited! No wonder she was so cranky a few days before...LOL Anyway, she is so wonderful, the absolute light of our lives. She is such a sweet and happy girl, and is so smart. We are truly blessed!!
