What a mess...

Grace has definitely hit the toddler stage, and my messy house proves it. Her favorite thing is to drag stuff from her room to the living room, and vis-a-versa. She also drops things along the way, its very easy to see where she has traveled.

Another new trick she has learned and LOVES is climbing. Anything, anywhere, and you can't convince her otherwise. For Christmas she got a music set from Grandpa and Grandma that came in a plastic drum. Two nights ago she pushed it close to the recliner chair so she would have something to hang on to, climbed on top of the drum and proceeded to dance her feet on it. Jeff and I about had a heart attack, and decided to put it away for a couple months. Thankfully she has not mastered the furniture or her bed yet, she is still a little too short, but im sure if she was determined that she would find a way.

Every morning when I get her up she loves to run through the house to see which door I forgot to close....this morning it was the kitchen; which has a container blocking the entry....( it is kind of pointless because she loves to climb on it when we arent paying attention). I had not put it in place yet and so after chasing her to the kitchen, and telling her we were going to "go out" she repeated "go" and then plopped her bum right down on the floor and refused to get up. When I reached for her hand she threw herself on the floor with a screetch and a lovely "angry face". I had to pick her up like a baby and carry her into the other room. All the while I was laughing histerically. It is so hard to punish her when the naughty things she does are so cute.

Anyway, it is only 11am and the day has already proven to be adventurous and slightly chaotic.

I wonder what the afternoon will bring?
