Yikes! So today has been one of those "crazy" days. Not necessarily in a bad way, but definitely crazy. Grace and Olivia have had so much energy today and have wanted me to be the one to work it out of them. This packing thing is going to be way harder than I thought. Grace likes to "help" me, either by packing things that don't belong or by unpacking things as I walk around trying to find out what else can go in the box. But I managed to get a few boxes packed today, so it wasn't a complete failure. Plus, I just took the best, hot shower and put on some clean lounge clothes and Im feeling much better.
Im also looking forward to tomorrow...Im going to be taking a container of the girls small clothes down to the local consignment store and start an account there....We have really hesitated getting rid of the baby clothes "just in case" we need them sometime in the next couple years...but since we have now past the annual "baby" announcement, we are feeling very comfortable as a family of 4 and are pretty sure we are going to keep it that way for a while, if not permanently. So, what the heck, might as well get rid of these baby clothes and have some extra cash to get new, bigger clothes without having to spend money out of pocket!
For those of you who were keeping up with the Hutchison Family updates, they came home on Tuesday night, and I had the pleasure of taking them dinner Wednesday evening. Joel is so tiny and cute and is doing wonderfully. They are so happy to be home and thank everyone for their prayers.
Im so glad its Friday, I love Friday nights cause Jeff and I always make sure to put the kids to bed at their exact bed times and we stay up and watch movies and veg out. I think this is one of those commitments that allows us to stay so in love with one another....I reccomend it to all parents of young children. Even if its just 1 hour each night to catch up on current events, or talk about each others day. It allows us time to just be "us".
