Well, besides trying to get the house ready for the BIG move...*only 3 more days...our sweet Daddy has been very, very sick! Gracie and I had a little round of another sinus infection that started early in the week, but it never progressed to anything but a few sniffles...Daddy, on the other hand got the whole shibang...Wednesday he sent me a text while he was at work and said he was starting to feel pretty sick..that night he tossed and turned and shivered and shaked, waking the next morning with a spiking high temp and a nasty cough. By 2:30 or so his fever reached 103.1...he was a miserable guy. His fever didnt finally burn off until yesterday around 6 am.
In the four years we have been married I don't think he has ever been this sick...this was the *I cant get out of bed* kind of sick. He barely ate and I had to bug him to get him to drink enough fluids, im sure he was still dehydrated. It was definitely a challenge for me, taking care of both girls, trying to pre-occupy Gracie...she wanted so badly to be in the "big bed" with him and would cry when I didn't allow her to go in...it was really hard for Jeff. And then on top of keeping the girls occupied, I had to keep Jeff somewhat comfy..hydrated, medicated and get him to put a little food in his belly.
I have been falling asleep between 815 and 845 for the last 4 nights...Im pooped!
Not to mention yesterday was CRAZY...Gracie maybe took 30 minutes of a nap the entire day...and Olivia was *catnapping---20 minute naps every 2-3 hours*...it was a nightmare. Although...as you will see in the video, we were able to have a little fun before bed and it made all of us feel a lot better before going to bed for the night.
The next three days are going to be a huge challenge for all of us..we are running out of livable space in our apartment due to all the packed boxes, and there is still a lot to be packed! But we are excited and ready for it and can't wait to be in our new place.
