Putting on the miles

We have been having so much fun walking lately. Last night we headed over to Sharpstein, then went over to Pioneer Park. I carried Liv in the moby wrap and Gracie was in her single stroller...man Liv is getting heavy..my stomach muscles and calves were killing me last night after we got back.
Then this morning we put Liv in the single stroller and let Grace be a little walker and headed over to Clarette's for breakfast. Jeff and I were shocked, Gracie walked at least 2/3 of the way, and its at least a mile from our house. Then walked about 1/4 of the way home. It was a beautiful morning and a nice and peaceful walk. After some playtime and lunch Gracie took a 2 1/2 - 3 hour nap, then we were headed to Walmart to get a few groceries.
We picked up some chicken sandwiches on the way home, came in and all ate dinner, bathed the girls and then loaded them into the double stroller. We headed downtown and got a chance to watch about an hour of the "Tour of Walla Walla" bike races while we walked around. Gracie was fascinated by the speeding bikes and it was exhilarating for Jeff and I too. We all really enjoyed ourselves, and if it werent bottle and bed time we would have stayed a bit longer.
Now both the girls are fed and in bed and Jeff and I are relaxing. Im sure Ill be a little sore tomorrow since Im so out of shape...but this is a great start to a fabulous summer...hopefully it will prove to be good for my waistline!!!
What a GREAT day!
